He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Lands and Ruth "Cloer" Lands; his wives, Earlene "Lee" Lands, Rethel "Allen" Lands and Bertie "Seritt" Lands; and his siblings, Mark, Andrew Lands, Marilyn Joyce, Diane Bell, Linda Bowen and Tommie Lee Lands.

He is survived by: his children, Rodney Lands, Clint Putnam, Chris (Shana Putnam), Vickie, Glenn Stephens and Sandra Owens; his brother James Lands; and his grandchildren, Brett Stephens, Erin Stephens, Drew Owens, Nick Owens, Hannah Lands, Emily Lands and Blaze Putnam. He is also survived by 13 step-grandchildren.
