We are sad to announce that on May 12, 2025, at the age of 87, John Michael Clark Sr. of Dalton, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Frank and Inez Clark; and his wife Dixie Hyde Clark. He is survived by: his daughter Emily; his son-in-law Jeff Smith of Madison, Alabama; his son John; his daughter-in-law Christine Clark of Birmingham, Alabama; his grandchildren, Chase McKay of Tampa, Florida, Audrey Clark of Birmingham, Alabama, Shannon Clark of Montgomery, Alabama and Kate McKay of Nashville, Tennessee; his siblings-in-law, Sue Lane Helton of Ringgold, Georgia, Dianne Nave of Ringgold, Georgia and Dale Hyde of Greenville; and his sibling's children, Thomas Stacy Helton of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Amy Helton of Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, Griffin Hyde of Greenville, Nathan Hyde of Greer and Holly Nave Kittle of Chattanooga, Tennessee. He is also survived by great nephews and nieces, several cousins, and many special friends.
