She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Spears and Nina Spears; her siblings, Harold Spears, Dale Spears, Oval Spears, Bobby Spears and Esta Mae Miller; and her stepson Tony Carroll.
She is survived by: her husband John Carroll of Dalton; her daughters, Pam (Mike Parker) and Acea (Tracy Starks); her stepdaughter Tammy Phillips of Utah; her stepdaughter-in-law Wendy Allen of North Carolina; her brother Jerry (Ann Spears); and her grandchildren, Michael, Mary Catherine, Damien, Tristen, Adrienne, Taigon, Seth, Rebecca, Hannah and Sarah.
