With solemn reverence, we commemorate Kathy Morgan of Dalton, Georgia, whose life came to an end on December 8, 2025 at the age of 72, leaving behind cherished memories. She was predeceased by: her parents, Verlan Smith and Albertha Smith; and her sisters, Margaret (Gene Dixon) and Patricia Whitener. She is survived by: her husband Lamar Morgan; her daughters, Stacie (Jonathan Bagley) and Kelly (Scott Stone); her brother Jerry; her sister-in-law Hazel Smith of Chatsworth; and her grandchildren, Jenna, Shae, Caleb Bagley, Brayden, Kaydence and Addy Stone. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home (2801 Cleveland Hwy, Dalton, GA 30721). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
