It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lana Parker Sweenie (Dalton, Georgia), born in Montgomery, Alabama, who passed away on June 18, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Gordon Sweenie of Rocky Face, GA; her parents, James Raymond Parker and Juanita Haire Parker of Montgomery, AL; and her sister Patricia Rae Parker Roney of Wetumpka, AL.. She is survived by: her children, James Lawrence Baker, Jr. (Theresa) of Colorado Springs, CO. and Ashley Virginia Davies (John) of Tunnel Hill, GA; her grandsons, Quentin Pierce Davies of Dalton, GA and Ethan Baker Davies of Tunnel Hill, GA; her great grandchildren, Adrian Roberts and Alice Azula Davies of Tunnel Hill, GA; her niece Stephanie Warr of Wetumpka, AL; her great-nephew Jacob Warr; and her great-niece Chaselyn Warr. She is also survived by other cousins, nieces and nephews.
