With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of LaPhene Amos Lane of Dalton, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 6, 2025 at the age of 89. She was predeceased by: her husband Burke Lane; her parents, King Amos and Lois Amos; and her siblings, Milton Amos and Patty Ruth McClendon.
She is survived by: her children, David (Betty Lane), DaPhene (Felipe Hernandez), Datta Lane (Ranny) and Rhonda Lane; her sister Gwendolyn Blackwell; and her grandsons, Brian Lane, Andy Lane, Ranon Lane, Noah Hernanez, Esai Lane, Hector Chiessa, Zach Holcomb and Joe Brewer. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 2 great, great grandchildren.
