She was predeceased by: her parents, Judson Carl and Mary Louise; her siblings, Pearl Glazener, Margaret Surrette, Martha Ballard, Charles McCall and Carl McCall; and her grandson Andrew Dodson.
She is survived by: her sister Betty Sibley of Charleston; her children, Lynn Laughter (Ben) of Dalton, Georgia and Barry Dodson (Robin) of Richburg; her grandchildren, Judson Laughter (Laura) of Knoxville, Tennessee, Mark Laughter (Karissa) of Vienna, Austria, Mary Lynn Jones (Miller) of Dalton, Georgia, Kent Dodson of Richburg, Robert Dodson (Katherine) of Fort Mill and Dia Dodson of Fayetteville; and her great grandchildren, Kate, Mary Louise, Joseph, Benjamin Laughter of Knoxville, Tennessee, Lydia, Isaac Laughter of Vienna, Austria, Natalie, Isabel and Daniel Dodson of Fort Mill. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family has asked, in lieu of flowers, that donations be designated to the Youth Ministry at Turkey Creek Baptist Church, a ministry that was dear to Mema's heart, or your local Alzheimer's Association.
