It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louise Stella Garner of Dalton, Georgia, who passed away on October 5, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Louise shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Louise farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Richard Oberby and Beatrice Oberby; her children, Bobby Garner, Rebecca Hayes and Tina Garner; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Contreras, Natasha Maximo, Kendra Negrete-Hayes, Brandon Garner and Chelsea Garner.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Chapel of Dalton Funeral Home (620 S Glenwood Ave, Dalton, GA 30721). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Dalton Funeral Home (620 S Glenwood Ave, Dalton, GA 30721).
