Maria leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Maria’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Maria will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her father Reginaldo Perez Velasquez; and her siblings, Carlos Perez, Marciano Perez and Victorina Leonor Barrera. She is survived by: her children, Irma White (Shurah) and Erick Hernandez; her grandchildren, Nadine and Miley Sage; her mother Maria Susana Ochoa Cano; and her boyfriend Gary Knipp. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Willis Funeral Home (2011 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Dalton, GA 30721, USA). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
