She was predeceased by: her parents, Grady Stokes and Effie Stokes; her son James Daniel "Dude" Holt; and her siblings, Jimmy Stokes, Lamar Stokes, Eugene Stokes, Edward Stokes, Dorothy Thaker and Ora Roberson.
She is survived by: her husband Danny Holt; her daughter Brenda Buchanan of Dalton, GA; her grandchildren, Zachary Buchanan of Dalton, GA, Jasmine Holt of North Carolina and Daniel Holt of Dalton, GA; and her niece Lisa (Raymond Cantrell). She is also survived by three great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
