She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Mathis; her daughter Debbie; her son-in-law Randall DeFore; her son Darryl; her daughter-in-law Carmen Mathis; her sister Judy Staten (Ed); her sister-in-law Sandra Robertson; her grandsons, Logan Mathis (Macey), Joseph DeFore, Matthew DeFore and Austin Mathis (Jacey); her great grandchildren, Boone and Annie Mathis; her stepgrandsons, Aaron Patterson (Autumn) and Austin Watkins (Taylor); and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Caleb, Everleigh Watkins and Willow Patterson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Grove Level Baptist Church (2802 Cleveland Hwy, Dalton, GA 30721). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
