She was predeceased by: her parents, Mancel Bailey and Esther Mae Miller Bailey; her daughter Connie Moore; her grandson Jesse Lamar Lewallen; her siblings, Louie Traffenstead, Clifford Bailey, Frances Marcus, Beatrice Gribble, Clara Belle Burns and Lorene Black; and her son-in-law Thomas Baggett.
She is survived by: her husband William "Billy" Gribble; her children, Shirley Baggett, Jesse Gribble (Betty), Ginger Guffey (Oney Murphy) and John Gribble (Veronica "Sally"); her grandchildren, Tony Newton, Kimberly Johnson, Christopher Guinn, Keith Guinn, Jessica Moore, Sheena Sheilds, Amanda Blankenship, Justin Guffey and Taylor Quarles; her sisters-in-law, Joyce Starks, Kathryn Cochran and Carol Gribble; and her niece Debbie Umstead.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Cross Point Church (2681 Underwood St, Dalton, GA 30721). A burial was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Pine Grove Cemetery.
