He was predeceased by: his parents, John Parker and Bea Parker; and his brother Bruce E. Parker. He is survived by: his wife Judy H. Parker; his daughters, Crystal Garland and Rhonda Thomas (Matt Cline); his grandchildren, Samantha Smith (Jordan), Stephanie Thomas (Shawn), Dylan Garland, Kimberly Lang (River), Katie Thomas and Austin Garland; his great grandchildren, Taylynn, Maverick, Grayson, Alexis and Elizabeth; his sister-in-law Janice Parker; his sibling's children, Kari Plavich (Michael) and Matthew Parker (Esther); and his friends, Walt Parsons and Donnie Dunn.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Love Funeral Home (1402 N Thornton Ave, Dalton, GA 30720). A memorial service was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Pine Grove Baptist Church (4004 Airport Rd SE, Dalton, GA 30721).
