She was predeceased by: her husband Harry Lee Newberry; her brother Rick Holsomback; her brother-in-law W. W. "Webster" Newberry; her parents, G. W. "Dub" Holsomback and Mary Roland Holsomback; and her in-laws, W. W. "Dal" Newberry and Dorothy "Dot" Kitchings Newberry.
She is survived by: her daughter Tara; her son-in-law John Hurst; her grandchildren, Hailey and Mason of Marietta; her sister-in-law Pam Holsomback; her niece Lauren Holsomback Patterson; her nephew Andy Holsomback of Chatsworth; her great-nephew Harbor Patterson; and her siblings-in-law, Kenneth Newberry (Rebena Long), Elaine Newberry Painter and Martha Newberry of Dalton. She is also survived by cousins and friends.
