She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Loyd C. Yeargin and Ruby Jones Yeargin; and her brothers, Raymond Yeargin, Randy Yeargin, Gregory Yeargin and Steve Yeargin.
She is survived by: her husband Gregg Sims; her daughters, Cathy Sims Snyder (Steve) and Sheri Sims Henry (Jeff); her grandchildren, Mitchell Snyder, Grant Snyder, Sydney Sellers (Hutton), Alexandra Ruiz and Vance Ruiz; and her great grandchild Sims.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the West Hill Cemetery Chapel. A reception will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at 208 N Pentz St, Dalton, GA 30720.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Creative Arts Guild or The Whitfield Healthcare Foundation designated to the HMC Residency Program fund established by Sandra in memory of Dr. Loyd C. Yeargin.
