She was predeceased by: her husband Ted James Bennett; her parents, Henry Lanning and Winnie Lanning; and her sister Velma Weeks. She is survived by: her children, Jesse Bennett, Tracy (Daniel King) and Cheryl (Charlie Williams); her sister Wilma; her brother-in-law Bill Flowers; her grandchildren, Jared King, Josh Williams, Sarah Bennett and Debbie Kirby; her niece Barbara Flowers; and her nephew Michael Flowers. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home (2801 Cleveland Hwy, Dalton, GA 30721).
