She was predeceased by: her parents, George Hill and Charlene Hill; George Hill, Jr.. She is survived by: her son John Barrett Upton II (Jamie); her grandchild Jamie Upton of Dalton; her brother Haskill Hill of Harriman, TN; her siblings-in-law, Michael and Martha Clift of Cookeville, TN; and her grandchildren, Dr. John Barrett Upton III of Fort Myers and Ashley West (Kason) of Dalton. She is also survived by her husband, spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home (2801 Cleveland Hwy, Dalton, GA 30721). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
