Vernon Lamar Brown Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Vernon Lamar Brown of Dalton, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 5, 2025 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Vernon leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Vernon may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall Brown and Katherine Morgan; and his grandparents, Roosevelt and Mamie Brown. He is survived by: his children, Eddie Burnette Jr. and Kristy Burnette; and his siblings, Marshall Brown, William D. Morgan (Lisa) and Sharon Angelia Painter (Jerrimey).
