He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Salazar and Rita Salazar Beltran; and his brother Julio Salazar. He is survived by: his wife Maria Olivia Salazar Sotelo; his children, Veronica Flores, Victor Salazar Jr. (Karla Carranza), Erica (Fernando Perez) and Kate Salazar; his siblings, Rosa, Ruben Garcia, Nazario, Rebeca Salazar and Dora Riano Price; and his grandchildren, Adrian, Victoria, Tristen, Mason and Noah. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Ponders Funeral Home - Dalton (138 Melrose Dr, Dalton, GA 30721). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (968 Haigmill Lk Rd, Dalton, GA 30720).
