It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia G. Cooley (Dalton, Georgia), who passed away on March 16, 2025, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Virginia departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Virginia may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Virginia leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren Gilchrest and Edith Gilchrest; her husband Wallace C Cooley; and her grandson Andrew R Cooley. She is survived by: her children, Linda Helm, Russell Cooley, Clifford Cooley and Beth Murphy. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
