He is survived by: his children, Gary Dixon of Florence, AL, Michael Dixon of Dalton, Tim Dixon of Opelika, FL., Jennifer (Keith Anderson), Allison Whittle of Dalton and Karen (Joey Truesdale); his brother Kenneth (Joan Dixon); his stepchildren, Kay Johnson, Jim and Regina Johnson; his grandchildren, Anna, Christopher, Sarah, Tim, Brittany, Heather, Mallory, Christa, Tripp, Maddie, Brady, Kayleigh, Koleton Kamden and Kylie; and his stepgrandchildren, Haley and Hannah. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
