He is survived by: his wife Debra Souther Castro; his children, Bobby Castro of La Puente, CA, Stephanie Castro Macias (Denise Selvey) of Phoenix, AZ, Meleia Phillips-Bridenstine (Steven) of Ball Ground, GA and Sanna Ma'ka Phillips of Cumming, GA.; his grandchildren, Sydney Macias, Sylissa Castro, David Serna, Hannah Castro, Nathaniel Castro, Kaylee Owen, Libby Bridenstine, Cole Miles Bridenstine and Ella Anne Gilbreath; his great grandchild Luna Serna; his siblings, Rogelio Talmentes of Los Angeles, CA, Joe Castro (Martha) of San Dimas, CA, Martha Gossard of Laughlin, NV, Gracie Darby (Steve) of San Diego, CA, Gloria Gonzalez (Jaime) of Las Vegas, NV, Elsa Beraga (Steve) of Lake Havasu, AZ, Yolanda Jaimes of Covina, CA and Julieta McWhorter of Mt. Holly, NC.; his family, Billy, Brenda Rogers, Joyce Souther, Bill, Janice Strawser, Rhonda Souther, Terry, Sandy Souther and Long; and his friend Octavio Perez.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Saint Joseph's Catholic Church (968 Haigmill Lk Rd, Dalton, GA 30720).
