He is survived by: his mother Sharon Knight Larkins; his wife Emily Pierce Larkins; his children, David Benjamin (Emily), Ereck Daniel (Rachel), Zachary Hamblin (Madison), Levi Michael (Emily) and Joshua Isaac Amasa (Jessica); and his siblings, Cathi Larkins Palmer, LeeAnn Larkins Johnson, Elizabeth Ruth Larkins and Jennifer Larkins Cantrell.

He was a devoted student of the scriptures and frequently shared his testimony and insights at the Firm Foundation Expo in Utah, where he was invited to speak at several conferences on evidence for the Book of Mormon.
