He is survived by: his wife Doris Jean Dunagan; his children, Douglas Carter, Jr. (Michelle) of Jacks Creek, TN, Sherry Franklin (Tony) of Jackson, TN and Sonya Hibbitt (Shane) of Danielsville, GA; and his sister Betty Hunter of Goshen, IN. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
