She was predeceased by : her parents, Weldon Dean and Mettie Long Dean; her husband Marvin D. Bridges; her daughter Gail Bailey; and her daughter-in-law Judy Osley Bridges.

She is survived by : her children, Doug Bridges (Kay) of Commerce, David Bridges of Bowman and Connie Mallard (Gary) of Brunswick; and her sister Carole Wilson of Alpharetta. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Freedom Church of God Food Bank or Jones Chapel United Methodist Church.
