He is survived by: his wife Belinda Moody; his children, Amy Moody and William "Little Pete" Moody (Marie); his stepchildren, Stephanie Williams (William, III) and Joshua Sweat (Dani); his stepfather James Corlette; his siblings, Joyce Outlaw (Ronnie) of Darien, Norma Jean Gardner of Darien, Trudy Morrison of Tennessee, Leon Moody (Jackie) of Brunswick, James Moody of Darien, Charles Moody (Donna) of Darien, Tony Moody (Jan) of Darien and Russell Moody of Darien; and his grandchildren, Alyssa Moody, Clayton Moody, Leland Moody, Elaine Williams, Micha Moody, Analyn Moody, Heather Warren, Anna Williams, Gabriella Williams, Braylen Williams, Raylon Pritchett, Valerie Williams, Laythen Williams and Sarabeth Jackson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Darien Church (1229 Blounts Crossing, Darien, GA 31305). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
