As Lorene departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Lorene may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Lorene leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her father Ronald Eugene McDonald; and her stepfather Herbert Isbell. She is survived by: her mother Sandra McDonald of Darien; her daughter Alexis Lyman (Joshua) of Elizabeth City, NC; her stepdaughter Haley Vernon of Brunswick; her close friend Scott Davis of Darien, GA; and her sister Chris Lamb (Ed) of Peoria, IL. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
