As James departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved James. Though James may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his father James Nathan, Sr.; and his grandmother Lucy Mae Nathan. He is survived by: his sisters, Cassandra Nathan-Mayes (Cornelius), Brittany Lee and Janice Nathan; his uncle Elmore Nathan, Jr. (Carrol); and his aunts, Annie Ruth Hall (Curtis) and Cecelia Nathan. He is also survived by seven nieces and nine nephews; and a host of cousins, other extended relatives, and dear friends.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cedar Hill Cemetery (846 Summitt Dr NE, Dawson, GA 39842).
