She was predeceased by : her parents, Clarence Chambless and Ercell Chambless; her brothers, Jack Chambless and Harold Chambless; and her son Mark Hillis.

She is survived by : her sons, Chuck (Sylvia Hillis) and Kelly (Carla Hillis); her daughter-in-law Amy Hillis of Portland, Maine; her grandchildren, Jamie Hillis (A. J.), Taylor Hillis (Jessica), Matthew Hillis (Mallory), Becky Hillis (J. Hughes), Benjamin Hillis (Perrian) and Daniel Hillis; her brother David Chambless (Hazel); and her niece Kristi Chambless.
