He was predeceased by: his parents, Tommie Lee and Inell Sims. He is survived by: his wife Freddie Powell Sims; his daughters, Monica and Alycia Sims; his grandchildren, Asia, London, Bryson and Savion; his siblings, Danny, Lester, Marvin, Gregory and Betty Ann; and his stepdaughter Jocelyn.
