He is survived by: his children, Wesley, Rosalind Chambers, Jeff, Shelley Chambers, Sheila, Charles Grizzle and Greg Chambers; and his brothers, Richard Chambers and R. B. Chambers. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; sisters.
