He is survived by: his wife Deborah Kay "Debbie" McLaughlin; his children, Danny, Robin McLaughlin, Dixie and John Zuger; his brother Samuel "Patrick" McLaughlin; his grandchildren, Brittany Sweatman (Jonathan), Leah Boone (Jamie), Raven Tumlin, John-Luke Zuger, Isaiah Zuger, Elisabeth Zuger and Noah Zuger; his great grandchildren, Camden Smith, Addison Smith, Maci Smith, Connor-Neal Smith, EmmaKay Smith, Holley Sweatman and JT Sweatman; and his great great grandchildren, Westley Zuger, Aubrey Tumlin and Weston Harris.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Bearden Funeral Home (334 Hwy 53, Dawsonville, GA 30534). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel (334 Hwy 53, Dawsonville, GA 30534).
