She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlotte Robertson Edwards and Edwin Fuller Edwards, Sr.; her husband John Charles Dukes, Jr.; her brother Edwin Edwards, Jr.; and her brother-in-law Bill Dukes, Sr. (Jean).
She is survived by: her children, John (Denise Dukes), Alyson (David Hidding), Sara Beth Dukes of Columbia, MD, Joe Dukes (Julia Byrd) and Carolyn Dukes (Chuck Gutshall); her grandchildren, Charlie (Stephanie Dukes) of McDonough, GA, Christopher (Kati Dukes) of Pensacola, FL, Catherine (Kevin Regan) of Marietta, GA, Rachel (Zach Roberts) of Knoxville, TN, Christina (Ross Wheeler) of Smyrna, GA, Daniel (Jennifer Luke) of Dunwoody, GA, Patrick (Alicia Hidding) of Suwanee, GA, Andrew Hidding (Vince Nieto) of Jasper, GA, Asia Peters (Isla Peters) of Bangkok and Faye (Josh Trice) of Fate, TX.; her great grandchildren, Chuck Dukes, Cooper Corley, Emma Dukes, Carter Dudes, Hallie Dukes, Burke Baxter, Everett Baxter, Lane Regan, Logan Luke, Aiden Luke and Fox Nieto; and her sisters-in-law, Karen Davis Edwards of St. Simons Island and Kathy Hill Dukes of Atlanta. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Brigid Catholic Church (3400 Old Alabama Rd, Johns Creek, GA 30022).
