Alonzo left this world on October 11, 2025 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his wife Norma; his granddaughter Joya L. Moore; his siblings, George Moore, Jr., Robert Lee Moore, Holloway Moore, Aaron Moore and Catherine Howard; and his son-in-law Tavares Wilson.
He is survived by: his children, Deacon Lorenzo Jervon Moore (Mia) and Laquandra Moore Wilson; his grandchildren, Jevori Moore, Javien Moore, Tavionna Wilson, Jazmyne Moore and Tariq Wilson; his great grandchild Legend Wilson; his siblings, Homer Moore, Roosevelt Moore (Mary Alice) and Mary Thomas; his daughter Darlene Byrd Guthrie; and his grandchildren, Leon "TJ" Guthrie, Jr. and Leona Guthrie. He is also survived by loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren, and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 10:55 AM and at 11:00 AM at the House of Hope Atlanta (4650 Flat Shoals Pkwy, Decatur, GA 30034).
