Benjamin Ulmer Wilson Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Benjamin Ulmer Wilson of Decatur, Georgia. Benjamin, born on February 11, 1927, passed away on September 23, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Eleanor Grizzard Wilson; his daughter Debra Wilson Thiele (Patrick Thiele); and his parents, James William and Loraine Wrigley Wilson. He is survived by: his children, Ben Wilson, Jr. (Nancy Campbell), Linda Wilson Parisi (Paul Parisi) and Dr. Robert Wilson (Esther Wynne); his grandchildren, Georgia, Leland, Laura, Eric, Sarah, Jake and Abigail; and his great grandchildren, Amaya Grace, Freya, Anders, Vera, Adam, Harper, Nora and Aurora.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 20th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church (2855 Briarcliff Rd NE, Atlanta, GA 30329).
