She was predeceased by: her parents, H. Harvey Haberman and Sylvia Haberman; her husband Robert; and her grandson Gabriel Gilgor Strathern. She is survived by: her children, Edward Mark Gilgor (Dawn Rivera) and Devon Sylis Gilgor (Angela Oas); her grandchildren, Evann Smith Strathern (Ashley), Nathan Louis Gilgor (Zoë Marrich-Simon), Brandon Gilgor Strathern, Nicholas Everett Strathern (Nicole Pfuhl) and Sylvia Michelle Gilgor; her nieces, Renee Haberman, Elisa Robyn Haberman, Alison Haberman Smith and Erica Haberman Smith; her great grandchildren, Hayden Riley King and Isaiah Crisp Strathern; and her pet Sugar.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Judea Reform Congregation Cemetery (2560 Jones Ferry Rd, Chapel Hill, NC 27516).
