With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Christopher Jones of Decatur, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 14, 2025 at the age of 42. He is survived by: his mother Geri Jones; his sister Shaqueta Amos (Ryan); his grandmother Audrey Tate of Mobile, AL.; his aunt Latricia "Mona" Tate of Mobile, AL.; his uncle Karlton Tate of Mobile, AL.; and his great-aunts, Brenda Hammonds of Lawrenceville, GA. and Sabrina Garror (Lavelle) of Lawrenceville, GA.. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Donald Trimble Mortuary, Inc. (1876 2nd Ave, Decatur, GA 30032). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church (182 Hunter St NW, Norcross, GA 30071).
