He is survived by: his children, James Hebert, Gloria Bannister and Natalie Scites; his stepdaughter Naomi Dunn; his siblings, Preston Hebert, E. J. Hebert, Lynn Hebert, Alice Hebert, Judy Cook, Doris Westbrook and Joyce Berryman; and his nephew Lee Russell. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the A. S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home & Crematory (2773 N Decatur Rd, Decatur, GA 30033). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 9th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Georgia National Cemetery (Veterans Cemetery Rd, Georgia 30114).
