She was predeceased by: her parents, James Ivy Roberson and Maude Overman Tinsley Roberson; her son Joseph "Joey" Wayne Chapman, Jr.; and her siblings, Martha Helen Tinsley Pounds and Johnny Tinsley.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph "Wayne" Chapman of Milledgeville; her children, Melissa "Lisa" Chapman Young of Greensboro and James "Jim" William Chapman (Rachel) of Rentz; her grandchildren, Joseph Tillman Young (Charity), Jonathan Ivy Young, Joseph'Joey" Wayne Chapman II, Sebastian Cosson and Lilly Ann Chapman; her great grandchildren, Joseph Wayne Young, Jonathan Cash Young, Scarlett Rose Young and Colton Arthur Young; and her caregivers, Jackie Fragher and Mary Cooper. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
