We are sad to announce that on July 4, 2025, at the age of 72, James Stewart (Decatur, Georgia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint James leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Irene Smith (Willie Charles Stewart) and NJ; and his brothers, Reginald Stewart and Michael Stewart. He is survived by: his brothers, Donald Harris (Francis), Edgar Harris and Fayyaadh LaTeef; and his children, Reginald James Stewart, Trent Burley (Robin), James Burley (Melanie), Shanta Grant and Zakiyyah Stewart. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
