With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jay Taylor of Decatur, Georgia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Jay left this world on June 8, 2025 at the age of 57, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. Family and friends can send flowers and/or light a candle as a loving gesture for their loved one. In the vast expanse of eternity, Jay shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Jay farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He is survived by: his parents, David Turner Taylor and Ann Burgess Taylor; his brothers, Christopher (Tracy) and Timothy (Veronique); and his children, Abigail, Austin, Hudson and John Taylor.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the A. S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home & Crematory (2773 N Decatur Rd, Decatur, GA 30033). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Floral Hills Memory Gardens (3000 Lawrenceville Hwy, Tucker, GA 30084).
