She was predeceased by : her parents, Bishop Marshall Carter and Mother Lillie Carter; and her sister Patricia Logan. She is survived by : her husband Bishop Gary McFarlin; her daughters, Seleata Smith-Bowers (Ryder Bowers), Kendra J. Lewis (Antonio Lewis), Melissa McFarlin and Garita McFarlin; and her siblings, Evangelist Myra C. Warner and Dr. Larry L. Carter. She is also survived by five grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
