It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Elaine (McNeil) Latson (Decatur, Georgia), who passed away on February 17, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Francine Stephel McNeil and Matthew McNeil. She is survived by: her husband Colonel Donald C. Latson; her children, Amber D. Boglin, DeMarcus E. Latson (Elizabeth) and Kaffie "Kitty" Latson; her grandchildren, Dasia, Lyric, Kaffie Maylea, Ayanna, Harmony, David and Mark; her sisters, Pamela M. Heglar and Stephanie Burrell; and her brothers-in-law, Lewis Latson (Joann), Therone Latson, Jerry Latson (Lexie), Robert Latson (Velma) and Dennis Latson (Miquel). She is also survived by nieces, nephews and "adopted" children.
