We announce the death of Leonard J. Goldberg of Decatur, Georgia, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on October 2, 2026, at the age of 78. Leonard will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He is survived by: his wife Velda Goldberg; his sons, Jeffrey Goldberg (Cynthia) of Acworth, Georgia and Justin Goldberg of Easthampton, Massachusetts; his granddaughter Tiffany McDonnell of West Dennis, Massachusetts; and his brother Robert Goldberg (Louisa) of Windham.
