Mary Pearl Mallison Obituary

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Buswell and Grace Buswell; her brothers, Elmer, Vernon, Dale and Harrie Buswell; and her stepdaughters, Rosalind Mallison and Sylvia Mallison.

She is survived by: her stepson James Mallison (Dana Leckie) of Leland, NC; her son-in-law Tom Murray (Sylvia) of Atlanta; her sisters-in-law, Lois Buswell (Elmer) of Carroll and Katy Buswell (Harrie) of Owensboro, KY; and her granddaughter Mandy Kuhn. She is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews; many great, and great-great nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 at 4:30 PM at the Clairmont Place (2100 Clairmont Lake, Decatur, GA 30033).

After 12 years at AJN, Mary and George returned to Atlanta in 1993 to be near family as she cared for him through end of life–in 1996 George, the love of her life, succumbed to his battle with Alzheimer's at age 72.
