He is survived by: his mother Ana Maria Vallejo of Medina; his wife Christie Medina; his children, Mitchell and Samantha Medina; his sister Maria Claudia Palacios (Alexander); his sibling's children, Maygan, Alex Jr., Ana and Laura Palacios; his in-laws, Paul and Sharon Corologos; his aunt Paula Riggie; and his sister-in-law Lisa Corologos (Dennis Tallagnon).

Donations can be made in his name to the American Brain Tumor Association.
