He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ernest L. Sumner and Majorie Meadows Sumner; his wife Leah; his sons, Ernest Brady Sumner (Margaret), Stuart Fallin Sumner and Thomas Meadows Sumner (Kate); his granddaughter Mary Frances Sumner; and his sister Melinda Barger. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
