We are sad to announce that on July 2, 2025, at the age of 91, Mildred Overstom Weber (Decatur, Georgia), born in East Berlin, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Mildred may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Mildred touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Decatur Cemetery (229 Bell St, Decatur, GA 30030). A memorial service was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Glenn Memorial United Methodist Church (1660 N Decatur Rd, Atlanta, GA 30307).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Mudie's honor to the Children's Building Fund Initiative at Glenn Memorial United Methodist Church.
