She was predeceased by: her parents, William T. Shockley and Mattie Martyn Shockley; her husband Rev. George W. Fields, Jr.; and her siblings, Elizabeth, Evelyn, Perry and Thomas Martyn.
She is survived by: her cousin Ora; and her children, Louis Paul Fields, Rebecca Ann Fields Hall and Martin Cargile Fields. She is also survived by five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
