Peggy leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Peggy’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Peggy will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her husband Roy Curtis Akin; her son Michael Curtis Akin; and her parents, Morris Martin and Attice Martin (Payne). She is survived by: her daughter Lee Ann Akin; her nieces, Tonya Calhoun (Craig) and Tammy Nance; and her cousin Gayle Shaw.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Floral Hills Memory Gardens (3000 Lawrenceville Hwy, Tucker, GA 30084).
